Events
The IAEL organises regular events for its members to attend. The main date in the calendar remains the Midem conference held in Cannes each January but the IAEL is always keen to arrange additional events. Alongside other seminars in Cannes for the Film Festival, MIPCOM and MIPTV, the IAEL has hosted seminars in Hong Kong and the US and is currently hoping to establish regular events at the Toronto and Berlin Film Festivals.
The importance of IAEL's presence at MIDEM and these other conferences and markets is the opportunity for lawyers from around the world to meet one another face to face and in an informal setting.
