Events
The IAEL organises regular events for its members to attend. The main date in the calendar remains the Midem conference held in Cannes (France) each January but the IAEL is always keen to arrange additional events, in particular at industry trade shows.
IAEL has regularly organised seminars at the Cannes Film Festival, the Popkomm Music Festival in Berlin (Germany) and the Rio Film Festival (Brazil). The IAEL has also hosted seminars at the American Film Market in Los Angeles as well as the MIPCOM and MIPTV shows in Cannes. It is currently hoping to establish regular events at other festivals and markets especially in the US and Asia.
IAEL's presence at MIDEM and these other conferences and markets provides our members with valuable training and networking forums but also simply with the opportunity to meet one another face to face and in an informal setting.
