I am extremely pleased that the IAEL will be expanding its activities and presenting a new program at MIPCOM.

MIPCOM is the year’s most anticipated global market for entertainment content across all platforms which takes place in Cannes on October 7-10, 2013: www.mipcom.com.

Our new IAEL program will focus on the emerging international legal issues of the television industry. This is a brand new opportunity for the IAEL community to meet in Cannes with the industry’s major players from TV and new digital content platforms.

The new MIPCOM LEGAL TRACK of Conferences will include two workshop sessions: -“Navigating Multi-Platform Television Deals in an Evolving Marketplace” -“Second Screen--Legal Issues and Solutions”

We also will have a Meet the Lawyers session at which IAEL members will engage in one-on-one sessions with MIPCOM participants looking for legal counseling .
