Canadian Music Week

Canadian Music Week, which took place between 21-25 March this year, is recognized as one of the premier entertainment events in North America focusing on the business of music. People from the world of sound recording, new media and broadcast come together for a week of events including informative, intensive conferences, a cutting edge trade exhibition, award shows, a film festival and Canada’s biggest new music festival.

This year, IAEL were involved at the panel event 'Building your artist's brand as a business'. The discussion, which was moderated by Dina LaPolt and featured IAEL members Chris Taylor and Todd Brabec as panelists, concerned how this could be achieved on a global scale and what the artist and their team of advisors should consider along the way.
