“The Content Revolution – Streaming, Youtube and Neighbouring Rights” Workshop

For rights holders, the exploitation and marketing of music and videos through aggregators, Youtube or streaming services like Spotify and the neighboring rights collection through collecting societies have already became essential sources of their income. In order to enable rights holders to monetize their content to a better extent, in this workshop the entertainment lawyer Götz Schneider-Rothhaar explained and discussed the structuring of rights management, different deal forms and contractual provisions, that are typical for that heavily increasing area of content exploitation.
