His practice involves all areas ofthe entertainment & arts field including film, television, literary publishing, music, radio, theater, live stage appearances, visual arts, advertising and marketing, internet and new media. Kirk handles issues related to various aspects of development, financing, production, distribution and exhibition, including actors, writers, musicians, producers, authors, literary publishing houses, record labels, music publishers, live stage venues, exhibitors, advertising agencies, visual artists, web-based content providers and investors and financiers in the entertainment field. He is the current Chair ofthe American Bar Association Entertainment & Sports Law section. He is a frequent speaker on entertainment and art related topics around the country. He is a past program chair of the Harvard Law School/ABA Symposium on Entertainment Law. Past faculty appointments have included the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond Schools of Law and VCU"s Graduate School of Arts.
