| Personal CV: | Jerker Edström focuses on intellectual property law – specifically copyright law - and primarily provides advice to clients within the Media & Entertainment and IT industries. Jerker has experience from advising clients on a range of national and international intellectual property issues and specialises on issues related to new media, such as exploitation of audiovisual and music content in online and mobile environments. He regularly provides advice in relation to the music industry on commercial contracts, corporate matters as well as litigation. Clients include record labels, music publishers, production companies, tour operators/venue owners, individual artists, producers and songwriters as well as on-line platforms and other distributors of music. Jerker was educated at Stockholm University. During 2007-2008, Jerker earned an LL.M. (Masters of Laws) with a concentration towards intellectual property and entertainment law at New York University School of Law as a Fulbright Scholar. Jerker has published several articles on copyright and database-rights and lectures on current topics on topic and entertainment law. |
